We had a go at making butter using this easy method,
“first you put the cream in a jar and then you shake it” Isaac
If you want to try this at home use double cream and only half fill the jar.
After a while you can hear a change as the mixture separates. As Hannah put it,
“I can hear a liquid in there”
After, we tasted the different butters we made: one salted, one refrigerated and one freshly made without being refrigerated.
The children agreed that it was yummy.
